^33 (A)So you shall not pollute the land in which you are; for blood pollutes the land and no expiation can be made for the land for the blood that is shed on it, except ^(B)by the blood of him who shed it.

^13 [a](A)You shall not pity him, but ^(B)you shall purge the blood of the innocent from Israel, that it may go well with you.

^8 [a]Forgive Your people Israel whom You have redeemed, O Lord, and do not place the guilt of ^(A)innocent blood in the midst of Your people Israel.’ And the bloodguiltiness shall be ^[b]forgiven them. ^9 (B)So you shall remove the guilt of innocent blood from your midst, when you do what is right in the eyes of the Lord.
