Numbers 33:52-54

⁵² ‘you shall then drive out all the inhabitants of the land before you and destroy all their idols, and break apart all their images of metal, and tear down all their high places.

⁵³ ‘And you shall possess the land and dwell in it, for I have given you the land to possess it.

⁵⁴ ‘And you shall inherit the land by lot, according to your families. To the more you shall give more inheritance, and to the fewer the less inheritance. Where the lot shall fall to any man, that shall be his. According to the tribes of your fathers you shall inherit.
