³³ So ^(A)Moses gave to the children of Gad, to the children of Reuben, and to half the tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, ^(B)the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land with its cities within the borders, the cities of the surrounding country.

The Land East of the Jordan Divided^(A)

¹² “And this ^(B)land, which we possessed at that time, ^(C)from Aroer, which is by the River Arnon, and half the mountains of Gilead and ^(D)its cities, I gave to the Reubenites and the Gadites.

^13 (A)The rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, the kingdom of Og, I gave to half the tribe of Manasseh. (All the region of Argob, with all Bashan, was called the land of the ^[a]giants.

⁴ And now the Lord your God has given ^(A)rest to your brethren, as He promised them; now therefore, return and go to your tents and to the land of your possession, ^(B)which Moses the servant of the Lord gave you on the other side of the Jordan.
