5 So there were provided, out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand from each tribe, twelve thousand (A)armed for war. 6 And Moses sent them to the war, a thousand from each tribe, together with Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, with the vessels of the sanctuary and (B)the trumpets for the alarm in his hand. 7 They warred against Midian, as the Lord commanded Moses, and (C)killed every male.

5 So there were recruited from the divisions of Israel one thousand from each tribe, twelve thousand armed for war. 6 Then Moses sent them to the war, one thousand from each tribe; he sent them to the war with Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, with the holy articles and (A)the signal trumpets in his hand. 7 And they warred against the Midianites, just as the Lord commanded Moses, and (B)they killed all the (C)males.
