Good News Translation

⁴⁰The clans of Ard and Naaman traced their descent from Bela. ⁴¹These clans numbered 45,600 men.

⁴²The tribe of Dan: the clan of Shuham,

New International Version

⁴⁰The descendants of Bela through Ard^(A) and Naaman were:

through Ard,^[a] the Ardite clan;

through Naaman, the Naamite clan.

⁴¹These were the clans of Benjamin;^(B) those numbered were 45,600.

⁴²These were the descendants of Dan^(C) by their clans:^(D)

through Shuham,^(E) the Shuhamite clan.

These were the clans of Dan:
