The Second Census

26 After the plague, the Lord spoke to Moses and Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest.^[a] He said, ² “Take a census of the entire Israelite community, twenty years old and up, according to their fathers’ houses, all who are of age to serve in Israel’s army.”
