³⁸ So Balaam said to Balak, “Behold, I have come now to you! ^(A)Am I able to speak anything at all? The word that God puts in my mouth, that I shall speak.”

¹³ ‘Though Balak were to give me his house full of silver and gold, I could not do anything contrary to the ^[a]command of the Lord, either good or bad, ^(A)of my own ^[b]accord. ^(B)What the Lord speaks, that I will speak’?

¹⁴ But Micaiah said, “^(A)As the Lord lives, what ^(B)the Lord says to me, that I shall speak.”

¹³ But Micaiah said, “As the Lord lives, ^(A)what my God says, that I will speak.”
