²⁴ “Aaron will be ^(A)gathered to his people; for he shall not enter the land which I have given to the sons of Israel, because ^(B)you rebelled against My ^[a]command at the waters of Meribah.

¹⁴ for in the wilderness of Zin, during the strife of the congregation, ^(A)you rebelled against My ^[a]command to treat Me as holy before their eyes at the water.” (These are the waters of Meribah of Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.)

^37 (A)The Lord was angry with me also on your account, saying, ‘^(B)Not even you shall enter there.

²⁶ But ^(A)the Lord was angry with me on your account, and would not listen to me; instead, the Lord said to me, ‘^[a]Enough! Do not speak to Me any more about this matter. ²⁷ Go up to the top of ^(B)Pisgah and raise your eyes to the west, the north, the south, and the east, and see it with your eyes; ^(C)for you shall not cross over this Jordan.
