2 И рече Господ на Моисея и Аарона, думайки:

²синовете Израилеви трябва да се разполагат на стан всеки при знамето си, при знаковете на челядите си; наоколо те трябва да се разполагат на стан пред скинията на събранието.

³^(A)Отпред към изток разполагат стан: знамето на Иудиния стан според опълченията му, и началникът на Иудините синове Наасон, Аминадавов син,

⁴и неговите войници, влезли в преброението му, седемдесет и четири хиляди и шестстотин.

⁵^(B)След него разполага стан коляното Исахарово, и началникът на Исахаровите синове Натанаил, Цуаров син,

⁶и неговите войници, влезли в преброението му, петдесет и четири хиляди и четиристотин;

⁷^(C)(по-нататък разполага стан) коляното Завулоново, и началникът на синовете Завулонови Елиав, Хелонов син,

⁸и неговите войници, влезли в преброението му, петдесет и седем хиляди и четиристотин.

⁹Всички, влезли в преброението, към Иудиния стан, според опълченията им, са сто осемдесет и шест хиляди и четиристотин; те първи да потеглят.

¹⁰^(D)Към юг да бъде знамето на Рувимовия стан, според опълченията му, и началникът на синовете Рувимови Елицур, Шедеуров син,

¹¹и неговите войници, влезли в преброението му, четирийсет и шест хиляди и петстотин.

¹²^(E)До него разполага стан коляното Симеоново, и началникът на синовете Симеонови Шелумиил, Цуришадаев син,

¹³и неговите войници, влезли в преброението му, петдесет и девет хиляди и триста.

¹⁴^(F)Сетне разполага стан коляното Гадово, и началникът на синовете Гадови Елиасаф, Регуилов син,

¹⁵и неговите войници, влезли в преброението му, четирийсет и пет хиляди шестстотин и петдесет.

¹⁶Всички, влезли в преброението към Рувимовия стан, според опълченията им, са сто петдесет и една хиляди четиристотин и петдесет; те втори да потеглят.

¹⁷^(G)Кога се дигне скинията на събранието, станът на левитите да бъде посред становете. Както са разположени, тъй и да вървят, всеки на своето място при знамето си.

¹⁸^(H)Към запад да бъде знамето на Ефремовия стан според опълченията му, и началникът на синовете Ефремови Елишама, Амиудов син,

¹⁹и неговите войници, влезли в преброението му, четирийсет хиляди и петстотин.

²⁰^(I)До него разполага стан коляното Манасиево, и началникът на синовете Манасиеви Гамалиил, Педацуров син,

²¹и неговите войници, влезли в преброението му, трийсет и две хиляди и двеста.

²²^(J)Сетне разполага стан коляното Вениаминово, и началникът на синовете Вениаминови Авидан, Гидеониев син,

²³и неговите войници, влезли в преброението му, трийсет и пет хиляди и четиристотин.

²⁴Всички, влезли в преброението към Ефремовия стан, според опълченията им, са сто и осем хиляди и сто; те трети да потеглят.

²⁵Към север да бъде знамето на Дановия стан, според опълченията му, и началникът на синовете Данови Ахиезер, Амишадаев син,

²⁶и неговите войници, влезли в преброението му, шейсет и две хиляди и седемстотин.

²⁷До него разполага стан коляното Асирово, и началникът на синовете Асирови Пагиил, Охранов син,

²⁸и неговите войници, влезли в преброението му, четирийсет и една хиляди и петстотин.

²⁹По-нататък (разполага стан) коляното Нефталимово, и началникът на синовете Нефталимови Ахира, Енанов син,

³⁰и неговите войници, влезли в преброението му, петдесет и три хиляди и четиристотин.

³¹Всички, влезли в преброението към Дановия стан, са сто петдесет и седем хиляди и шестстотин; те последни да вървят при знамената си.

³²Тия са влезлите в преброението синове Израилеви според челядите им. Всички, влезли в преброението в становете, според опълченията им, са шестстотин и три хиляди петстотин и петдесет.

³³А левитите не влязоха в преброението заедно със синовете на Израиля, както бе заповядал Господ на Моисея.

³⁴^(K)И синовете Израилеви извършиха всичко, що бе заповядал Господ на Моисея: тъй разполагаха становете си при знамената си, и тъй вървяха всеки според племето си, според челядта си.

The Arrangement of the Tribal Camps

2 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron: ²“The Israelites are to camp around the tent of meeting some distance from it, each of them under their standard^(A) and holding the banners of their family.”

³On the east, toward the sunrise, the divisions of the camp of Judah are to encamp under their standard. The leader of the people of Judah is Nahshon son of Amminadab.^(B) ⁴His division numbers 74,600.

⁵The tribe of Issachar^(C) will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Issachar is Nethanel son of Zuar.^(D) ⁶His division numbers 54,400.

⁷The tribe of Zebulun will be next. The leader of the people of Zebulun is Eliab son of Helon.^(E) ⁸His division numbers 57,400.

⁹All the men assigned to the camp of Judah, according to their divisions, number 186,400. They will set out first.^(F)

¹⁰On the south^(G) will be the divisions of the camp of Reuben under their standard. The leader of the people of Reuben is Elizur son of Shedeur.^(H) ¹¹His division numbers 46,500.

¹²The tribe of Simeon^(I) will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Simeon is Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai.^(J) ¹³His division numbers 59,300.

¹⁴The tribe of Gad^(K) will be next. The leader of the people of Gad is Eliasaph son of Deuel.^[a]^(L) ¹⁵His division numbers 45,650.

¹⁶All the men assigned to the camp of Reuben,^(M) according to their divisions, number 151,450. They will set out second.

¹⁷Then the tent of meeting and the camp of the Levites^(N) will set out in the middle of the camps. They will set out in the same order as they encamp, each in their own place under their standard.

¹⁸On the west^(O) will be the divisions of the camp of Ephraim^(P) under their standard. The leader of the people of Ephraim is Elishama son of Ammihud.^(Q) ¹⁹His division numbers 40,500.

²⁰The tribe of Manasseh^(R) will be next to them. The leader of the people of Manasseh is Gamaliel son of Pedahzur.^(S) ²¹His division numbers 32,200.

²²The tribe of Benjamin^(T) will be next. The leader of the people of Benjamin is Abidan son of Gideoni.^(U) ²³His division numbers 35,400.

²⁴All the men assigned to the camp of Ephraim,^(V) according to their divisions, number 108,100. They will set out third.^(W)

²⁵On the north^(X) will be the divisions of the camp of Dan under their standard.^(Y) The leader of the people of Dan is Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.^(Z) ²⁶His division numbers 62,700.

²⁷The tribe of Asher will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Asher is Pagiel son of Okran.^(AA) ²⁸His division numbers 41,500.

²⁹The tribe of Naphtali^(AB) will be next. The leader of the people of Naphtali is Ahira son of Enan.^(AC) ³⁰His division numbers 53,400.

³¹All the men assigned to the camp of Dan number 157,600. They will set out last,^(AD) under their standards.

³²These are the Israelites, counted according to their families.^(AE) All the men in the camps, by their divisions, number 603,550.^(AF) ³³The Levites, however, were not counted^(AG) along with the other Israelites, as the Lord commanded Moses.

³⁴So the Israelites did everything the Lord commanded Moses; that is the way they encamped under their standards, and that is the way they set out, each of them with their clan and family.

2 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying: ²^(A)“Everyone of the children of Israel shall camp by his own ^[a]standard, beside the emblems of his father’s house; they shall camp ^(B)some distance from the tabernacle of meeting. ³On the ^(C)east side, toward the rising of the sun, those of the standard of the forces with Judah shall camp according to their armies; and ^(D)Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be the leader of the children of Judah.” ⁴And his army was numbered at seventy-four thousand six hundred.

⁵“Those who camp next to him shall be the tribe of Issachar, and Nethanel the son of Zuar shall be the leader of the children of Issachar.” ⁶And his army was numbered at fifty-four thousand four hundred.

⁷“Then comes the tribe of Zebulun, and Eliab the son of Helon shall be the leader of the children of Zebulun.” ⁸And his army was numbered at fifty-seven thousand four hundred. ⁹“All who were numbered according to their armies of the forces with Judah, one hundred and eighty-six thousand four hundred—^(E)these shall ^[b]break camp first.

¹⁰“On the ^(F)south side shall be the standard of the forces with Reuben according to their armies, and the leader of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.” ¹¹And his army was numbered at forty-six thousand five hundred.

¹²“Those who camp next to him shall be the tribe of Simeon, and the leader of the children of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.” ¹³And his army was numbered at fifty-nine thousand three hundred.

¹⁴“Then comes the tribe of Gad, and the leader of the children of Gad shall be Eliasaph the son of ^[c]Reuel.” ¹⁵And his army was numbered at forty-five thousand six hundred and fifty. ¹⁶“All who were numbered according to their armies of the forces with Reuben, one hundred and fifty-one thousand four hundred and fifty—^(G)they shall ^[d]be the second to break camp.

¹⁷^(H)“And the tabernacle of meeting shall move out with the ^[e]camp of the Levites ^(I)in the middle of the ^[f]camps; as they camp, so they shall move out, everyone in his place, by their ^[g]standards.

¹⁸“On the west side shall be the standard of the forces with Ephraim according to their armies, and the leader of the children of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud.” ¹⁹And his army was numbered at forty thousand five hundred.

²⁰“Next to him comes the tribe of Manasseh, and the leader of the children of Manasseh shall be Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.” ²¹And his army was numbered at thirty-two thousand two hundred.

²⁷“Those who camp next to him shall be the tribe of Asher, and the leader of the children of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of Ocran.” ²⁸And his army was numbered at forty-one thousand five hundred.

²⁹“Then comes the tribe of Naphtali, and the leader of the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira the son of Enan.” ³⁰And his army was numbered at fifty-three thousand four hundred. ³¹“All who were numbered of the forces with Dan, one hundred and fifty-seven thousand six hundred—^(K)they shall ^[j]break camp last, with their ^[k]standards.”

³²These are the ones who were numbered of the children of Israel by their fathers’ houses. ^(L)All who were numbered according to their armies of the forces were six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty. ³³But ^(M)the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel, just as the Lord commanded Moses.

³⁴Thus the children of Israel ^(N)did according to all that the Lord commanded Moses; ^(O)so they camped by their ^[l]standards and so they broke camp, each one by his family, according to their fathers’ houses.
