^23 (A)shall see the land that I swore to give to their fathers. And none of those who despised me shall see it.

²⁸ Say to them, ^(A)‘As I live, declares the Lord, ^(B)what you have said in my hearing I will do to you:

³⁰ not one shall come into the land where I ^(A)swore that I would make you dwell, ^(B)except Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun.

^35 (A)‘Not one of these men of this evil generation shall see the good land that I swore to give to your fathers,

³ For we who have believed enter that rest, as he has said,

although his works were finished from the foundation of the world.
