^51 (A)So when the tabernacle is to move on, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle encamps, the Levites shall set it up. But ^(B)the ^[a]layman who comes near it shall be put to death.

¹⁹ Rather, do this for them so that they will live and ^(A)not die when they approach the most holy objects: Aaron and his sons shall go in and assign each of them to his work and to his load;

²⁰ but ^(A)they shall not come in to see the holy objects even for a moment, or they will die.”

⁶ But when they came to the ^(A)threshing floor of Nacon, Uzzah ^(B)reached out toward the ark of God and took hold of it, because the oxen nearly overturned it.

⁷ And the anger of the Lord burned against Uzzah, and ^(A)God struck him down there for ^[a]his irreverence; and he died there by the ark of God.
