Numbers 9:7-11
New International Version
7 and said to Moses, “We have become unclean because of a dead body, but why should we be kept from presenting the Lord’s offering with the other Israelites at the appointed time?(A)”
8 Moses answered them, “Wait until I find out what the Lord commands concerning you.”(B)
9 Then the Lord said to Moses, 10 “Tell the Israelites: ‘When any of you or your descendants are unclean because of a dead body(C) or are away on a journey, they are still to celebrate(D) the Lord’s Passover, 11 but they are to do it on the fourteenth day of the second month(E) at twilight. They are to eat the lamb, together with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.(F)

7 And those men said to him, “We became defiled by a human corpse. Why are we kept from presenting the offering of the Lord at its appointed time among the children of Israel?”
8 And Moses said to them, “Stand still, that (A)I may hear what the Lord will command concerning you.”
9 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 10 “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘If anyone of you or your [a]posterity is unclean because of a corpse, or is far away on a journey, he may still keep the Lord’s Passover. 11 On (B)the fourteenth day of the second month, at twilight, they may keep it. They shall (C)eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.

7 And those men said to him, “We are unclean through touching a dead body. Why are we kept from bringing the Lord's (A)offering at its appointed time among the people of Israel?” 8 And Moses said to them, “Wait, that (B)I may hear what the Lord will command concerning you.”
9 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 10 “Speak to the people of Israel, saying, If any one of you or of your descendants is unclean through touching a dead body, or is on a long journey, he shall still keep the Passover to the Lord. 11 (C)In the second month on the fourteenth day at twilight they shall keep it. (D)They shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.
