³ The cities shall be theirs to dwell in, and their pasturelands shall be for their cattle and for their livestock and for all their beasts.

^2 (A)Of this a square plot of 500 by 500 cubits shall be for the sanctuary, with fifty cubits for ^(B)an open space around it.

¹⁴ For the Levites left ^(A)their common lands and their holdings and came to Judah and Jerusalem, ^(B)because Jeroboam and his sons cast them out from serving as priests of the Lord,

^11 (A)They gave them ^(B)Kiriath-arba (Arba being the father of Anak), that is Hebron, ^(C)in the hill country of Judah, along with the pasturelands around it.
