¹³ You shall offer a burnt offering, an offering by fire,^[a] a pleasing odor to the Lord: thirteen young bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old. They shall be without blemish.

⁴ And they kept the Festival of Booths,^[a] as prescribed, and offered the daily burnt offerings by number according to the ordinance, as required for each day,^(A)

Monthly Offerings

¹¹ “At the beginnings of your months you shall offer a burnt offering to the Lord: two young bulls, one ram, seven male lambs a year old without blemish;^(A)

¹² But when Christ^[a] had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, “he sat down at the right hand of God,” ¹³ and since then has been waiting “until his enemies would be made a footstool for his feet.”^{(A) 14} For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are sanctified.

The New Life in Christ

12 I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, on the basis of God’s mercy, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your reasonable act of worship.^(A)
