¹⁷ So he came to him, and there he was, standing by his burnt offering, and the princes of Moab were with him. And Balak said to him, “What has the Lord spoken?”

¹⁷ then Zedekiah the king sent and took him out. The king asked him secretly in his house, and said, “Is there any word from the Lord?”

And Jeremiah said, “There is.” Then he said, “You shall be ^(A)delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon!”

¹⁷ And he said, “What is the word that the Lord spoke to you? Please do not hide it from me. ^(A)God do so to you, and more also, if you hide anything from me of all the things that He said to you.”

²⁶ So Balaam answered and said to Balak, “Did I not tell you, saying, ^(A)‘All that the Lord speaks, that I must do’?”
