Nehemiah 7:3-5

³ And I said to them, “Do not let the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the heat of the Sun. And while they stand guard, let them shut the doors and fasten them. And appoint guards from the inhabitants of Jerusalem, each at his post and each in front of his house.”

⁴ Now, the city was large and great. But there were few people in it, and the houses were not built.

⁵ And my God put into my heart to gather the princes and the rulers and the people, to count their genealogies. And I found a book of the genealogy of those who had come up at the beginning. And in it I found:
