15 De mannen die vóór mij het land hadden bestuurd, hadden altijd een hoge belasting en veel brood en wijn van het volk gevraagd. Bovendien 40 sikkels (500 gram) zilver. Zelfs hun dienaren deden alsof ze heer en meester over het volk waren. Maar uit ontzag voor God heb ik zo niet gedaan.
