10 Şi totuşi a trebuit să plece şi ea în surghiun, s-a dus în robie, şi pruncii ei(A) au fost zdrobiţi în toate colţurile(B) uliţelor; au aruncat sorţul(C) asupra fruntaşilor ei şi toţi mai-marii ei au fost aruncaţi în lanţuri. 11 Şi(D) tu te vei îmbăta, te vei ascunde şi tu vei căuta un loc de adăpost împotriva vrăjmaşului! 12 Toate cetăţuile tale sunt nişte smochini(E) cu cele dintâi roade; când îi scuturi, smochinele cad în gura cui vrea să le mănânce.

And all her great men were bound in chains.
11 You also will be (D)drunk;
You will be hidden;
You also will seek refuge from the enemy.
12 All your strongholds are (E)fig trees with ripened figs:
If they are shaken,
They fall into the mouth of the eater.
