Mark 7:9-13
New International Version
9 And he continued, “You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe[a] your own traditions!(A) 10 For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and mother,’[b](B) and, ‘Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’[c](C) 11 But you say(D) that if anyone declares that what might have been used to help their father or mother is Corban (that is, devoted to God)— 12 then you no longer let them do anything for their father or mother. 13 Thus you nullify the word of God(E) by your tradition(F) that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.”
Mark 7:9-13
King James Version
9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
10 For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:
11 But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.
12 And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;
13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

9 He said to them, “All too well (A)you [a]reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition. 10 For Moses said, (B)‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, (C)‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’ 11 But you say, ‘If a man says to his father or mother, (D)“Whatever profit you might have received from me is Corban”—’ (that is, a gift to God), 12 then you no longer let him do anything for his father or his mother, 13 making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do.”

9 And he said to them, “You have a fine way of (A)rejecting the commandment of God in order to establish your tradition! 10 For Moses said, (B)‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, (C)‘Whoever reviles father or mother must surely die.’ 11 But you say, ‘If a man tells his father or his mother, “Whatever you would have gained from me is Corban”’ (that is, given to God)[a]— 12 then you no longer permit him to do anything for his father or mother, 13 thus (D)making void the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And many such things you do.”

9 He was also saying to them, “You are experts at setting aside the commandment of God in order to keep your (A)tradition. 10 For Moses said, ‘(B)Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘(C)The one who speaks evil of father or mother, is [a]certainly to be put to death’; 11 but you say, ‘If a person says to his father or his mother, whatever I have that would help you is (D)Corban (that is, [b]given to God),’ 12 you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or his mother; 13 thereby invalidating the word of God by your (E)tradition which you have handed down; and you do many things such as that.”
