5 Trau keinem einzigen Menschen mehr, nicht einmal dem besten Freund! Sei verschwiegen wie ein Grab, auch bei der Frau in deinen Armen! 6 Denn der Sohn achtet den Vater nicht mehr, die Tochter lehnt sich gegen die Mutter auf und die Schwiegertochter gegen die Schwiegermutter. Die eigenen Angehörigen werden zu Feinden!
7 Doch ich verlasse mich auf den Herrn, ich warte auf seine Hilfe. Ja, mein Gott wird mich erhören!

6 For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.
7 Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.
