⁵Yahweh, aking Diyos, wala kang katulad
sa maraming bagay na iyong ginanap;
kung pangahasan kong sabihin ang lahat,
nangangamba akong may makalimutan.

⁶Ang^(A) mga pang-alay, pati mga handog, at ang mga hayop na handang sunugin,
    hindi mo na ibig sa dambana dalhin, handog na sinusunog at mga kaloob
    hindi mo naisin, upang sala'y iyong patawarin.
Sa halip, ang iyong kaloob sa akin ay pandinig ko upang ika'y dinggin.
⁷    Kaya ang tugon ko, “Ako'y naririto;
    nasa Kautusan ang mga turo mo.

Psalm 40:5-7

New International Version

⁵Many, Lord my God,
    are the wonders^(A) you have done,
    the things you planned for us.
None can compare^(B) with you;
    were I to speak and tell of your deeds,
    they would be too many^(C) to declare.

⁶Sacrifice and offering you did not desire—^(D)
    but my ears you have opened^[a]—^(E)
    burnt offerings^(F) and sin offerings^[b] you did not require.
⁷Then I said, “Here I am, I have come—
    it is written about me in the scroll.^[c]^(G)
