⁶ and saying, “^[a]Lord, my ^[b]servant is ^[c]lying ^(A)paralyzed at home, fearfully tormented.”

^2 (A)And they brought to Him a ^(B)paralytic lying on a bed. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralytic, “^(C)Take courage, ^[a]son; ^(D)your sins are forgiven.”

⁶ But so that you may know that ^(A)the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—then He *said to the ^(B)paralytic, “Get up, pick up your bed and go home.”

^3 (A)And they *came, bringing to Him a ^(B)paralytic, carried by four men. ⁴ Being unable to ^[a]get to Him because of the crowd, they ^(C)removed the roof ^[b]above Him; and when they had dug an opening, they let down the pallet on which the ^(D)paralytic was lying. ⁵ And Jesus seeing their faith *said to the paralytic, “^[c]Son, ^(E)your sins are forgiven.”

⁹ Which is easier, to say to the ^(A)paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven’; or to say, ‘Get up, and pick up your pallet and walk’?

²⁴ But, so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,”—He said to the ^(A)paralytic—“I say to you, get up, and pick up your stretcher and go home.”
