¹⁶ When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.^(A)

¹⁴ When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them^(A) and healed their sick.^(B)

³⁰ Great crowds came to him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute and many others, and laid them at his feet; and he healed them.^(A)

¹⁰ For he had healed many,^(A) so that those with diseases were pushing forward to touch him.^(B)

²² So he replied to the messengers, “Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy^[a] are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.^(A)

³⁸ how God anointed^(A) Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing^(B) all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.^(C)
