Matthew 5:8-12

⁸ “Blessed are ^(A)the pure in heart, for ^(B)they shall see God.

⁹ “Blessed are ^(C)the peacemakers, for ^(D)they shall be called ^(E)sons^[a] of God.

^10 (F)“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for ^(G)theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

^11 (H)“Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely ^(I)on my account. ^12 (J)Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for ^(K)so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
