^29 (A)But if your right eye makes you ^[a]stumble, tear it out and throw it from you; for it is better for you ^[b]to lose one of the parts of your body, ^[c]than for your whole body to be thrown into ^[d](B)hell.

⁵⁷ And they were taking ^(A)offense at Him. But Jesus said to them, “^(B)A prophet is not without honor except in his ^[a]hometown and in his own household.”

¹⁰ And at that time many will ^[a](A)fall away and will ^[b]betray one another and hate one another.

³¹ Then Jesus *said to them, “You will all ^[a](A)fall away because of Me this night, for it is written, ‘^(B)I will strike down the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be ^(C)scattered.’

³ Is this man not ^(A)the carpenter, ^(B)the son of Mary, and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? Are not ^(C)His sisters here with us?” And they were taking ^(D)offense at Him.

⁶¹ But Jesus, ^(A)knowing in Himself that His disciples were grumbling at this, said to them, “Does this ^(B)cause you to stumble?
