²² But I tell you, everyone who is angry with his brother or sister^[a] will be subject to judgment. Whoever insults^[b] his brother or sister will be subject to the court.^[c] Whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be subject to hellfire.^[d](A)

⁴³ “And if your hand causes you to fall away, cut it off.^(A) It is better for you to enter life maimed^(B) than to have two hands and go to hell, the unquenchable fire.^[a](C)

¹⁰ The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet are,^(A) and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.^(B)

¹⁴ Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire.^(A) This is the second death, the lake of fire.

⁸ But the cowards, faithless,^[a] detestable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars^(A)—their share will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur,^(B) which is the second death.”^(C)
