^14 (A)“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. ¹⁵ Nor do they ^(B)light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. ¹⁶ Let your light so shine before men, ^(C)that they may see your good works and ^(D)glorify your Father in heaven.

¹⁴ Do all things ^(A)without ^[a]complaining and ^(B)disputing,^{[b] 15} that you may become blameless and ^[c]harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as ^(C)lights in the world, ¹⁶ holding fast the word of life, so that ^(D)I may rejoice in the day of Christ that ^(E)I have not run in vain or labored in ^(F)vain.
