¹¹ “Blessed [morally courageous and spiritually alive with life-joy in God’s goodness] are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil things against you because of [your association with] Me.

¹⁷ Even so, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the unhealthy tree bears bad fruit.

³⁴ You brood of vipers, how can you speak good things when you are evil? For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart.

¹³ But evil men and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.
