⁵ And whoever welcomes^[a] one child like this in My name welcomes Me.

¹⁶ Whoever listens to you listens to Me.^(A) Whoever rejects you rejects Me.^(B) And whoever rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me.”^(C)

²⁰ I assure you: Whoever receives anyone I send receives Me, and the one who receives^(A) Me receives Him who sent Me.”

¹⁴ You did not despise or reject me though my physical condition was a trial for you.^[a] On the contrary, you received me as an angel of God, as Christ Jesus Himself.
