⁹ As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus commanded them,^(A) ‘Don’t tell anyone about the vision until the Son of Man is raised^[a] from the dead.’

²⁵ ‘Truly I tell you, an hour is coming, and is now here,^(A) when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.^(B)

⁹ For they did not yet understand the Scripture^(A) that he must rise^(B) from the dead.^(C)

¹⁴ This was now the third time^(A) Jesus appeared^[a](B) to the disciples after he was raised from the dead.

²⁴ God raised him up, ending the pains of death,^(A) because it was not possible for him to be held by death.
