²⁷ For the ^(A)Son of Man ^(B)is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and ^(C)will then ^[a]repay every man according to his ^[b]deeds.

³⁸ For ^(A)whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, ^(B)the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He ^(C)comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.”

²² Jesus *said to him, “If I want him to remain ^(A)until I come, what is that to you? You ^(B)follow Me!”

¹³ so that He may ^(A)establish your hearts ^(B)without blame in holiness before ^(C)our God and Father at the ^[a](D)coming of our Lord Jesus ^(E)with all His ^[b]saints.

¹⁵ For this we say to you ^(A)by the word of the Lord, that ^(B)we who are alive ^[a]and remain until ^(C)the coming of the Lord, will not precede ^(D)those who have fallen asleep.

²³ Now ^(A)may the God of peace ^(B)Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your ^(C)spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, ^(D)without blame at ^(E)the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
