¹³ Then Pilate said to him, ^(A)“Do you not hear how many things they testify against you?”

⁶² And the high priest stood up and said, “Have you no answer to make? What is it that these men testify against you?”^[a]

²⁴ the tribune ordered him to be brought into ^(A)the barracks, saying that he should be ^(B)examined by flogging, to find out why they were shouting against him like this.

³⁵ Pilate answered, “Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests have delivered you over to me. What have you done?”
