⁸ And a very great multitude spread their clothes on the road; ^(A)others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road.

¹³ Then each man hastened ^(A)to take his garment and put it ^[a]under him on the top of the steps; and they blew trumpets, saying, “Jehu is king!”

¹³ took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out:

⁴⁰ And ^(A)you shall take for yourselves on the first day the ^[a]fruit of beautiful trees, branches of palm trees, the boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook; ^(B)and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God for seven days.
