³⁷ And ^(A)they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up seven baskets full of the broken pieces left over.

¹⁹ When I broke ^(A)the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” They said to him, “Twelve.” ²⁰ “And ^(B)the seven for the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” And they said to him, “Seven.” ²¹ And he said to them, “Do you not yet understand?”

⁸ And ^(A)they ate and were satisfied. And they took up the broken pieces left over, ^(B)seven baskets full. ⁹ And there were about four thousand people. And he sent them away.

^9 (A)Do you not yet perceive? Do you not remember ^(B)the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many baskets you gathered? ¹⁰ Or ^(C)the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many baskets you gathered?

³³ And the disciples said to him, “Where are we to get enough bread in such a desolate place to feed so great a crowd?”

²⁰ And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up twelve baskets full of the broken pieces left over. ²¹ And those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children.
