Giayo ni Jesus ang Paralitiko
(Mar. 2:1-12; Luc. 5:17-26)
9 Misakay si Jesus ug ang iyang mga kauban sa sakayan ug mitabok sa linaw. Unya mipauli dayon si Jesus sa iyang lungsod. 2 Sa didto na siya, may mga tawo nga midala ngadto kaniya ug usa ka tawong paralitiko nga naghigda sa banig. Sa dihang nakita ni Jesus ang ilang pagtuo, miingon siya sa paralitiko, “Ayawg kabalaka, kay ang imong mga sala gipasaylo na!” 3 Unya, aduna didtoy mga magtutudlo sa Kasugoan nga nakadungog, ug miingon sila sa ilang kaugalingon, “Pagpasipala sa Dios ang gisulti niining tawhana.” 4 Nasayod si Jesus sa ilang gihunahuna, busa miingon siya kanila, “Nganong naghuna-huna man kamog daotan? 5 Unsa may mas sayon, ang pag-ingon, ‘Gipasaylo na ang imong mga sala,’ o ang pag-ingon, ‘Tindog ug lakaw’? 6 Karon, pamatud-an ko kaninyo nga ako nga Anak sa Tawo may gahom dinhi sa yuta sa pagpasaylo sa mga sala.” Unya miingon siya sa paralitiko, “Tindog, dad-a ang imong higdaanan ug pauli!” 7 Mitindog dayon ang paralitiko ug mipauli. 8 Sa pagkakita niadto sa mga tawo nangahadlok sila, ug gidayeg nila ang Dios nga naghatag sa mga tawo ug gahom nga sama niadto.
Gitawag ni Jesus si Mateo

9 Unya mibiya si Jesus niadtong dapita, ug samtang naglakaw siya, nakita niya ang maniningil ug buhis nga si Mateo nga naglingkod sa dapit diin bayran ang buhis. Miingon si Jesus kaniya, “Dali, uban kanako.” Ug mitindog si Mateo ug miuban kang Jesus.

Busa gipangutana nila ang iyang mga tinun-an, “Nganong nakig-uban man sa pagpangaon ang inyong magtutudlo sa mga maniningil ug buhis ug sa uban pang mga makasasala?” 12 Pagka-dungog ni Jesus niini, mitubag siya, “Ang tawo nga maayog panglawas wala magkinahanglan ug doktor, ang masakiton lang. 13 Susiha ninyo kon unsa ang kahulogan niining giingon sa Kasulatan, ‘Wala ako magtinguha sa inyong mga halad. Ang gusto ko nga magmaluloy-on kamo sa inyong isigka-tawo.’[a] Wala ako moanhi aron sa pagtawag niadtong nagatuo nga sila matarong, kondili sa mga makasasala.”
Ang Pangutana bahin sa Pagpuasa

14 May mga tinun-an ni Juan nga tigbautismo nga miadto kang Jesus ug nangutana, “Kami ug ang mga Pariseo kanunay nga nagapuasa. 16 Miingon pa si Jesus, “Walay magtapak ug bag-ong panapton sa daan nga bisti, kay mokulo ang bag-o nga panapton kon malabhan ug mosamot pa kadako ang gisi. 17 Wala usay magsulod ug bag-o nga bino sa daan nga sudlanan nga panit, kay mabuskag ang sudlanan ug mausik ang bino, ug ang sudlanan dili na mapuslan. Hinuon, adto nila isulod ang bag-ong bino sa bag-ong sudlanan nga panit aron kining duha dili maunsa.”[b]
Ang Namatay nga Batang Babaye ug ang Babaye nga Mihikap sa Bisti ni Jesus

18 Samtang nagsulti pa si Jesus, miabot ang usa ka pangulo sa sinagoga sa mga Judio. Miluhod siya kang Jesus ug nagpakilooy nga nagaingon, “Ang akong anak nga babaye bag-o lang gayod namatay, apan kon adtoon mo siya ug ipandong mo ang imong kamot kaniya, nagatuo ako nga mabuhi siya pag-usab.” 19 Busa mitindog si Jesus ug miuban kaniya. Mikuyog usab ang mga tinun-an ni Jesus. 20-21 Samtang naglakaw sila, may babaye nga miduol sa luyo ni Jesus. Kadto nga babaye nagdugo-dugo[c] sulod na sa 12 ka tuig. Naghunahuna siya nga kon makahikap lang siya sa bisti ni Jesus mamaayo gayod siya. Busa gihikap niya ang sidsid sa bisti ni Jesus. 22 Milingi dayon si Jesus ug pagkakita niya sa babaye miingon siya, “Anak, paglipay! Ang imong pagtuo kanako maoy nakapaayo[d] kanimo.” Diha-diha naayo siya.
23 Mipadayon si Jesus ngadto sa balay sa pangulo. Sa pagsulod niya, nakita niya ang mga musikero alang sa lubong ug ang mga tawo nga nagkaguliyang. 24 Busa miingon siya sa mga tawo, “Gawas una kamo! Dili patay ang bata kondili natulog lang.” Gikataw-an nila si Jesus. 25 Sa dihang nakagawas na ang mga tawo, misulod dayon si Jesus sa kuwarto sa bata. Gikuptan niya ang kamot sa bata ug mibangon kini. 26 Ug ang balita mahitungod niini mikaylap sa tanang lungsod niadtong dapita.
Giayo ni Jesus ang Duha ka Buta
27 Sa pagbiya ni Jesus niadtong dapita, may duha ka buta nga nagsinggit nga misunod kaniya, “Kaliwat ni David,[e] kaloy-i kami!” 28 Sa pag-abot ni Jesus sa balay nga iyang gisak-an, miduol kaniya kadtong duha ka buta. Gipangutana niya sila, “Nagatuo ba kamo nga mahimo ko kamong ayohon?” Mitubag sila, “Oo, nagatuo kami.” 29 Gihikap dayon ni Jesus ang ilang mga mata ug miingon, “Sumala sa inyong pagtuo mahitabo kana diha kaninyo.” 30 Diha-diha naayo ang ilang mga mata ug nakakita na sila. Gipahimangnoan sila ni Jesus nga dili gayod mosugilon kang bisan kinsa. 31 Apan milakaw sila ug gipanugilon nila sa tibuok nga dapit kon unsa ang gibuhat ni Jesus kanila.
Giayo ni Jesus ang Amang
32 Sa dihang mopauli na sila, may gidala ngadto kang Jesus nga usa ka tawo nga naamang tungod kay gigamhan siya sa daotang espiritu. 33 Human hinginli ni Jesus ang daotang espiritu, nakasulti dayon ang amang. Nahibulong gayod ang mga tawo. Miingon sila, “Sukad masukad wala pa kitay nakita nga ingon niini sa tibuok Israel.” 34 Apan miingon ang mga Pariseo, “Ang pangulo sa mga daotang espiritu mao ang naghatag kaniya ug gahom aron mahinginlan niya ang mga daotang espiritu.”
Nalooy si Jesus sa mga Tawo
35 Milibot si Jesus sa mga lungsod ug sa mga baryo, ug nagtudlo siya diha sa mga sinagoga sa mga Judio. Giwali niya ang Maayong Balita mahitungod sa paghari sa Dios, ug gipang-ayo niya ang mga tawo nga may nagkalain-laing mga balatian. 36 Pagkakita niya sa daghang mga tawo, nalooy gayod siya kanila tungod kay daghan silag mga suliran apan wala silay kadangpan. Jesus Forgives and Heals a Paralyzed Man(A)
9 Jesus stepped into a boat, crossed over and came to his own town.(B) 2 Some men brought to him a paralyzed man,(C) lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith,(D) he said to the man, “Take heart,(E) son; your sins are forgiven.”(F)
3 At this, some of the teachers of the law said to themselves, “This fellow is blaspheming!”(G)
4 Knowing their thoughts,(H) Jesus said, “Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts? 5 Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? 6 But I want you to know that the Son of Man(I) has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man, “Get up, take your mat and go home.” 7 Then the man got up and went home. 8 When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God,(J) who had given such authority to man.
The Calling of Matthew(K)
9 As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,”(L) he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him.
10 While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples. 11 When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”(M)
12 On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’[a](N) For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”(O)
Jesus Questioned About Fasting(P)
14 Then John’s(Q) disciples came and asked him, “How is it that we and the Pharisees fast often,(R) but your disciples do not fast?”
15 Jesus answered, “How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them?(S) The time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.(T)
16 “No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse. 17 Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”
Jesus Raises a Dead Girl and Heals a Sick Woman(U)
18 While he was saying this, a synagogue leader came and knelt before him(V) and said, “My daughter has just died. But come and put your hand on her,(W) and she will live.” 19 Jesus got up and went with him, and so did his disciples.
20 Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak.(X) 21 She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.”
22 Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart,(Y) daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.”(Z) And the woman was healed at that moment.(AA)
23 When Jesus entered the synagogue leader’s house and saw the noisy crowd and people playing pipes,(AB) 24 he said, “Go away. The girl is not dead(AC) but asleep.”(AD) But they laughed at him. 25 After the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up.(AE) 26 News of this spread through all that region.(AF)
Jesus Heals the Blind and the Mute
27 As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!”(AG)
28 When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”
“Yes, Lord,” they replied.(AH)
29 Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”;(AI) 30 and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one knows about this.”(AJ) 31 But they went out and spread the news about him all over that region.(AK)
32 While they were going out, a man who was demon-possessed(AL) and could not talk(AM) was brought to Jesus. 33 And when the demon was driven out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowd was amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.”(AN)
34 But the Pharisees said, “It is by the prince of demons that he drives out demons.”(AO)
The Workers Are Few
35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.(AP) 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them,(AQ) because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.(AR) 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest(AS) is plentiful but the workers are few.(AT) 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
14 Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?
15 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.
16 No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.
17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

20 (U)And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and (V)touched the hem of His garment. 21 For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.” 22 But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; (W)your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.

Two Blind Men Healed
27 When Jesus departed from there, (AC)two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, (AD)“Son of David, have mercy on us!”
28 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”
They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”
29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.” 30 And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, (AE)“See that no one knows it.” 31 (AF)But when they had departed, they [g]spread the news about Him in all that [h]country.
A Mute Man Speaks

18 (AA)While he was saying these things to them, behold, a ruler came in and (AB)knelt before him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.” 19 And Jesus rose and followed him, with his disciples. 20 And behold, a woman (AC)who had suffered from a discharge of blood for twelve years came up behind him and touched (AD)the fringe of his garment, 21 for she said to herself, “If I only touch his garment, I will be made well.” 22 Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, (AE)“Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.” (AF)And instantly[d] the woman was made well. 23 And when Jesus came to the ruler's house and saw (AG)the flute players and the crowd making a commotion, 24 he said, “Go away, for (AH)the girl is not dead but (AI)sleeping.” And they laughed at him. 25 But (AJ)when the crowd had been put outside, he went in and (AK)took her by the hand, and the girl arose. 26 And the report of this went through all that district.
Jesus Heals Two Blind Men
27 (AL)And as Jesus passed on from there, two blind men followed him, crying aloud, “Have mercy on us, (AM)Son of David.” 28 When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to him, “Yes, Lord.” 29 (AN)Then he touched their eyes, saying, (AO)“According to your faith let it be done to you.” 30 And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, (AP)“See that no one knows about it.” 31 (AQ)But they went away and spread his fame through all that district.
Jesus Heals a Man Unable to Speak
32 As they were going away, behold, a (AR)demon-oppressed man who was mute (AS)was brought to him. 33 And when the demon had been cast out, the mute man spoke. And the crowds (AT)marveled, saying, “Never was anything like this seen in Israel.” 34 But the Pharisees said, “He casts out demons by the prince of demons.”
The Harvest Is Plentiful, the Laborers Few
35 (AU)And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. 36 (AV)When he saw the crowds, (AW)he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, (AX)like sheep without a shepherd. 37 (AY)Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; 38 therefore (AZ)pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to (BA)send out laborers into his harvest.”
