20 Kaya't ipanalangin ninyo na ang pagtakas ninyo ay hindi matapat sa taglamig o sa araw ng Sabbath. 21 Sapagkat (A) sa panahong iyon ay magkakaroon ng matinding kapighatiang hindi pa nangyari mula sa pasimula ng sanlibutan hanggang ngayon, at hindi na kailanman mangyayari pa. 22 At malibang paiikliin ang mga araw na iyon, ang lahat ng laman ay mapapahamak. Ngunit alang-alang sa mga pinili ay paiikliin ang mga araw na iyon.

20 Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.(A)
22 “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect(B) those days will be shortened.
