24 Cuando comenzó a hacer cuentas, le llevaron a uno que le debía plata por millones. 25 Como éste no podía pagar, su señor ordenó que lo vendieran, junto con su mujer y sus hijos, y con todo lo que tenía, para que la deuda quedara pagada. 26 Pero aquel siervo se postró ante él, y le suplicó: «Señor, ten paciencia conmigo, y yo te lo pagaré todo.»

24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.
25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
26 The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

24 As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand bags of gold[a] was brought to him. 25 Since he was not able to pay,(A) the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold(B) to repay the debt.
26 “At this the servant fell on his knees before him.(C) ‘Be patient with me,’ he begged, ‘and I will pay back everything.’
