20 Entonces ordenó a los discípulos(A) que a nadie dijeran que Él era el Cristo[a](B).

21 (C)Desde entonces Jesucristo comenzó a declarar[b] a sus discípulos que debía ir a Jerusalén y sufrir muchas cosas de parte de los ancianos(D), de los principales sacerdotes y de los escribas, y ser muerto, y resucitar al tercer día. 22 Y tomándole aparte, Pedro comenzó a reprenderle, diciendo: ¡No lo permita Dios[c], Señor! Eso nunca te acontecerá[d].

21 Desde entonces comenzó Jesús a advertir a sus discípulos que tenía que ir a Jerusalén y sufrir muchas cosas a manos de los líderes religiosos, de los jefes de los sacerdotes y de los maestros de la Ley; también que era necesario que lo mataran y que al tercer día resucitara. 22 Pedro lo llevó aparte y comenzó a reprenderlo:
—¡De ninguna manera, Señor! ¡Esto no te sucederá jamás!

Jesus Predicts His Death(B)
21 From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem(C) and suffer many things(D) at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law,(E) and that he must be killed(F) and on the third day(G) be raised to life.(H)
22 Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. “Never, Lord!” he said. “This shall never happen to you!”
