मूसा अउर एलिय्याह क संग ईसू क दरसन देब

(मत्ती 17:1-13; लूका 9:28-36)

छः दिना पाछे ईसू सिरिफ पतरस, याकूब अउर यूहन्ना सबक संग लइके एक ऊँच पर्वत प खुद गवा। हुवाँ उ ओनके समन्वा आपन भेस बदल लिहस। ओकर ओढ़ना चमचमाइ लागेन एकदम्मइ उजिअर। धरती प कउनो धोबी ओतना उजिअर ओसे जिआदा नाहीं धोइ सकत रहा। एलिय्याह अउर मूसा भी ओनके संग परगट भएन। अउर उ सबइ ईसू स बतियात रहेन।

तब पतरस बोल उठा अउर ईसू स कहेस, “गुरु, इ भल भवा कि हम हियाँ अही। हमका तीन तम्बू लगावइ द्या, एक तोहरे बरे, एक ठु मूसा बरे अउर एक ठु एलिय्याह बरे।” पतरस इ एह बरे कहेस जइसे उ जानत नाहीं रहा कि उ का बोली। इ तरह उ पचे डेराइ गएन।

एक बादर आवा अउर ओनका आपन छाया स ढाँकि लिहस। बदरा स एक आवाज कहत भइ होइ गइ, “इ मोर पियारा पूत अहइ। ओका सुना!”

अउर फउरन उ पचे चारिहुँ कइँती निहारेन। सिरिफ ईसू क छाँड़िके उ पचे कउनो क देखेन नाहीं।

And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.

And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them.

And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus.

And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

For he wist not what to say; for they were sore afraid.

And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves.

The Transfiguration

Let us make three (F)tents, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah.” For (G)he did not know what to say, for they were terrified. And (H)a cloud overshadowed them, and (I)a voice came out of the cloud, (J)“This is my beloved Son;[c] (K)listen to him.” And suddenly, looking around, they no longer saw anyone with them but Jesus only.
