12 त्यसपछि पवित्र आत्माले येशूलाई मरूभूमितर्फ पठाऊनुभयो। 13 चालीसदिनसम्म येशू त्यही मरूभूमिमा हुनुहुन्थ्यो। उहाँ त्यहाँ वन पशुहरूसँग हुनुहुन्थ्यो। जबसम्म येशू मरूभूमिमा हुनुहुन्थ्यो, उहाँ शैतानको परीक्षामा पर्नु भयो। स्वर्गदूतहरू आए अनि येशूलाई मद्दत गरे।
