⁴⁰ For whoever is not against us is for us.^{(A) 41} And whoever gives you a cup of water to drink^(B) in my name, because you belong to Christ^(C) —truly I tell you,^(D) he will never lose his reward.^(E)

⁴² “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to fall away^(F) —it would be better for him if a heavy millstone^(G) were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.
