³⁷ “Whoever welcomes^[a] one little child such as this in my name^(A) welcomes me. And whoever welcomes me does not welcome me, but him who sent^(B) me.”^(C)

In His Name

³⁸ John^(D) said to him, “Teacher,^(E) we saw someone^[b] driving out demons^(F) in your name,^(G) and we tried to stop him because he wasn’t following us.”^(H)

³⁹ “Don’t stop him,” said Jesus, “because there is no one who will perform a miracle^(I) in my name who can soon afterward speak evil of me.
