31 for he was teaching his disciples and was telling them, “The Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill him. And when he[a] is killed, after three days he will rise.” 32 But they did not understand the statement, and they were afraid to ask him.

31 because he was teaching his disciples. He said to them, “The Son of Man(A) is going to be delivered into the hands of men. They will kill him,(B) and after three days(C) he will rise.”(D) 32 But they did not understand what he meant(E) and were afraid to ask him about it.
33 They came to Capernaum.(F) When he was in the house,(G) he asked them, “What were you arguing about on the road?”
