²⁶ Jesus sent him home, saying, “Don’t even go into^[a] the village.”

⁴ Then Jesus said to him, “See that you don’t tell anyone.^(A) But go, show yourself to the priest^(B) and offer the gift Moses commanded,^(C) as a testimony to them.”

²³ He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit^(A) on the man’s eyes and put his hands on^(B) him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything?”

³⁶ Jesus commanded them not to tell anyone.^(A) But the more he did so, the more they kept talking about it.

⁴³ He gave strict orders not to let anyone know about this,^(A) and told them to give her something to eat.

¹⁶ He warned them not to tell others about him.^(A)

³⁰ and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one knows about this.”^(A)
