³³ And He took him aside from the multitude, and put His fingers in his ears, and ^(A)He spat and touched his tongue.

²³ So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town. And when ^(A)He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything.

⁶ When He had said these things, ^(A)He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. ⁷ And He said to him, “Go, wash ^(B)in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So ^(C)he went and washed, and came back seeing.

⁴⁰ And they ridiculed Him. ^(A)But when He had put them all outside, He took the father and the mother of the child, and those who were with Him, and entered where the child was lying.

¹⁹ And he said to her, “Give me your son.” So he took him out of her arms and carried him to the upper room where he was staying, and laid him on his own bed. ²⁰ Then he cried out to the Lord and said, “O Lord my God, have You also brought tragedy on the widow with whom I lodge, by killing her son?” ^21 (A)And he stretched himself out on the child three times, and cried out to the Lord and said, “O Lord my God, I pray, let this child’s soul come back to him.” ²² Then the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came back to him, and he ^(B)revived.

³³ He ^(A)went in therefore, shut the door behind the two of them, ^(B)and prayed to the Lord. ³⁴ And he went up and lay on the child, and put his mouth on his mouth, his eyes on his eyes, and his hands on his hands; and ^(C)he stretched himself out on the child, and the flesh of the child became warm.

⁴ And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.”

⁵ So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out. ⁶ Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.”

And he said to her, “There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased.
