2 And when he got out of the boat, there met him out of the graves a man possessed by an unclean spirit, 3 who had his dwelling among the graves. And no man could bind him, no, not with chains. 4 For he had often been bound with shackles and chains, but he pulled the chains apart and broke the shackles in pieces. Neither could anyone quiet him.

2 When Jesus got out of the boat,(A) a man with an impure spirit(B) came from the tombs to meet him. 3 This man lived in the tombs, and no one could bind him anymore, not even with a chain. 4 For he had often been chained hand and foot, but he tore the chains apart and broke the irons on his feet. No one was strong enough to subdue him.
