²⁴ Then He said to them, “Pay attention to what you hear. By the measure^(A) you use,^[a](B) it will be measured and added^(C) to you. ²⁵ For to the one who has, it will be given, and from the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.”^(D)

Do Not Judge

³⁷ “Do not judge, and you will not be judged.^(A) Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.^{(B) 38} Give, and it will be given to you; a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over—will be poured into your lap.^(C) For with the measure you use,^[a] it will be measured back to you.”^(D)

³⁹ He also told them a parable: “Can the blind guide the blind? Won’t they both fall into a pit?^{(E) 40} A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like his teacher.^(F)

⁴¹ “Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but don’t notice the log in your own eye? ⁴² Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself don’t see the log in your eye? Hypocrite! First take the log out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck in your brother’s eye.
