Large Crowds Come to Jesus
7 Jesus led his disciples down to the shore of the lake. Large crowds followed him from Galilee, Judea, 8 and Jerusalem. People came from Idumea, as well as other places east of the Jordan River. They also came from the region around the towns of Tyre and Sidon. All of these crowds came because they had heard what Jesus was doing. 9 (A) He even had to tell his disciples to get a boat ready to keep him from being crushed by the crowds.

A Great Multitude Follows Jesus(A)
7 But Jesus withdrew with His disciples to the sea. And a great multitude from Galilee followed Him, (B)and from Judea 8 and Jerusalem and Idumea and beyond the Jordan; and those from Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they heard how (C)many things He was doing, came to Him. 9 So He told His disciples that a small boat should be kept ready for Him because of the multitude, lest they should crush Him.

Crowds Follow Jesus(A)
7 Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the lake, and a large crowd from Galilee followed.(B) 8 When they heard about all he was doing, many people came to him from Judea, Jerusalem, Idumea, and the regions across the Jordan and around Tyre and Sidon.(C) 9 Because of the crowd he told his disciples to have a small boat ready for him, to keep the people from crowding him.
