Mark 15:33-41

^33 (A)And when the ^[a](B)sixth hour came, darkness ^[b]fell over the whole land until the ^[c](C)ninth hour. ³⁴ And at the ^(D)ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “^(E)Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which is translated, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” ³⁵ And when some of the bystanders heard it, they began saying, “Look, He is calling for Elijah.” ³⁶ And someone ran and filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on a reed, and gave Him a drink, saying, “^[d]Let us see whether Elijah will come to take Him down.” ^37 (F)And Jesus, uttering a loud cry, breathed His last. ^38 (G)And the veil of the sanctuary was torn in two from top to bottom. ^39 (H)And when the centurion, who was standing ^[e]right in front of Him, saw ^[f]the way He breathed His last, he said, “Truly this man was God’s Son!”

^40 (I)And there were also some women looking on from a distance, among whom were Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James ^(J)the ^[g]Less and Joses, and ^(K)Salome, ⁴¹ who, when He was in Galilee, were following Him and ^[h](L)serving Him; and there were many other women who came up with Him to Jerusalem.
