³³ He took Peter, James and John with him, and became quite overcome and deeply distressed.

³⁴ “My soul is disturbed within me,” he said, “right to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch.”

³⁵ He went a little further, and fell on the ground and prayed that, if possible, the moment might pass from him.
